Some additional info to my last rant.
Gobomber has in fact killed TWO Americans with his drones.
The second person is Samir Kahn. Neither of these people were much of an honest threat to us or the country. Just my opinion of course.
That they were killed on order of the president of the US, while the Constitution is still(??) in effect is something we all need to think about. That very Constitution that Gobomber swore an oath to uphold demands that even the most vile criminal is to get a trial by jury before he/she is punished.

I saw the Paul Craig Roberts article, Charlie. I thought it was good,too. I've gotta go with Mike Whitney, though, my interest at this point is with the Occupy Wall Street crowd.
Following Obama and the rest of the criminal class... criminal... now traitorous, murderous class... has lost its perverse 'attraction'. There're no depths to which they won't sink.
The people at OWS, and now elsewhere, are more interesting to me. They are starting to reinvent direct democracy, ground up... out of necessity, due to the fact that the entire political class is so corrupt and useless to us, the American people, that we've no one to fall back upon but ourselves. It's DYI democracy, as its always been, of course.

What's different here is that these are young people, with more years ahead of them than behind... unlike ourselves. And that's what it takes to effect change... people who will suffer the consequences of the status quo for their entire lifetimes if they don't act now.
These folks are looking at bleak lives indeed... and they are not going to put up with it if they can do anything about it. They need change and they've realized that they are the only ones with their own interests at heart.
I'm with them! I hope they can keep at it long enough for it to catch fire. Change will be a piece of cake if they can build the groundswell for it... like they say... we're the 99%.

Yes the Occupy Wall Street IS very good news. It makes this old guy happy to see this ongoing occupation and it just might do some good for us all. I have been waiting for something like this.
I didn't post much on it as there have been so many articles done on the OWS and I felt I could not add much so I just made my small comment.
Great links also. I had read two of them and agree that we the people need to make the "too big to fail" clowns take notice.
I have been saying for years that I would NOT trade places with anybody 20 years old. No way. I am glad that I am on the down side of this life. No way would I want to be a young person with the bulk of my life ahead of me.
I also hope they can keep this going. If I could afford it, I'd be there with them. Diesel is still over $3.70 a gallon here.
Not much was said on MSM or from the O team when Israel murdered an American citizen on the Freedom Flotilla to Gulag Gaza.
If I remember correctly he was shot in the back of the head at close range.
But shhhhhh, hush hush, one can not speak ill of Israel in these sacred times. :-)

YES, excellent reminder my friend. I agree with you on that "incident". Not much was said about that killing, actually more of an assassination. Oh, deary me, never say anything unkind about the zionist entity. Why, that cannot be allowed in the "land of the free". Oh man, the irony and possible sarcasm that I could do to that.
The absolute "rule" of never being critical of the zionist entity is a major obstacle that this country needs to get past. We should not give such overly favorable terms to any country.
I need to stop before I get really wound up on this topic.

I don't wanna be 20 again either, Charlie. I'm delighted to be 64. I can be handy, mending a fuse, but that's about it. The heavy lifting is up to the young people.

I think, Reality Zone, that just as the grillionaires of Wall Street have finally been identified and isolated as 1% of America... so too will Obama's upcoming veto of Palestinian membership in the UN lead to the identification and isolation of the US/Israeli neo-cons in charge of our respective governments as 1% thereof as well.
And then it will be up to the remaining 99% of us to do what has to be done.

Yes, I am very happy to see the young folks taking up the challenge of confronting the banksters and other greedy predators of Wall Street. In some ways, I say it is about time that the young people got involved. True, they did to some extent during the last big election in 2008. I just hope they can be in this fight for the long haul. I am as I know you are also. While we need the young to help with this fight, we older folks have experience on our side, we can help direct the young to better get their message across. Just my 2 cents.
Also, I add the fact that I am not a leader. I can be a fairly good follower if the cause is one I believe in and will even fight for what I think is right even if I am the only one doing so. I just don't do well as a leader, never wanted to be a leader. Honest, I asked to not be promoted when I was in the Marines. I had less than six months left on my enlistment and they wanted to promote me to sergeant. I asked them not to do so, they went and did it any way. They did express great surprise and then concern about my request. I just don't se myself as a leader. Too many responsibilities, which is why I think so many leaders fail, they can't or don't want to accept the responsibilities that go with being a leader.
